Under exceptional circumstances we may have to close the school. Examples might be extreme weather or a failure of our heating.
If it is possible that the school will be affected, the first place to look is the home page of this website. In bad weather, we would do our best to make a decision about closure by 7 am 
so that those with longer journeys can find out the position before travelling.
Please do not ring the school switchboard in these circumstances as the definitive information will always be on the website.
We may send out Schoolcomms messages but that would depend on the circumstances and time of day.

and be notified to Mix 96 and BBC Three Counties Radio.
We will always do our best to keep the school open and any decision on closure would be made on the basis of the safety of students and staff.
